THE BREAK (1995)

This film (directed by acclaimed director Lee Katzin) was shot, primarily, in St. Petersburg, Fl. and features Academy Award winner Martin (THE WEST WING) Sheen, Vince Van Patten, Rae Dawn Chong, and Gerritt (C.H.U.D. 2) Graham.

This sports movie, in the vein of ROCKY and THE BAD NEWS BEARS, is about a depressed and destitute tennis pro who is banned from the tour for slugging a player during a TV match. In need of money, the tennis pro agrees to coach a bookie's "head case" son who wants to turn pro.

BLOODY POETRY (1993)

BLOODY POETRY is the a beautifully written, depressing, true story about Mary (FRANKENSTEIN) Shelly, Percy Shelly, Lord Byron, and William (THE VAMPYRE) Polidori. Jim played the challenging role of the tormented, suicidal Polidori (creator of the first vampire story), a character that quickly became a personal favorite of his.
